"The Kenny Award"

The Kenny Award is presented in loving memory of Kenneth "Kenny" Donald Thackeray

1986-2000

This is the highest award available for the peewee division, as chosen by their teammates, parents and coaching staff

It is presented to the peewee age player(s) (13 or 14 years old) who best exemplifies true sportsmanship, has shown a strong commitment, is a team player and has been a positive influence to their team. (or in other words, reminds us the most of "Kenny")

The player is chosen based on votes by teammates, spectators & all coaching staff. One award is presented to each team that season, in the event of a tie on a team then 2 awards are given. The award can only be won once by each eligible player.
