The Provincials in Richmond Hill- August 6th, 2011

On August 6th the Georgian Bay Rattlers participated in the OASA Squirt Select Provincial Championship. They played extremely well beating each of their competitors. Despite the blazing sun and the tiring games they played to win and they won each of their games leading up to the Championship Finals. Their final game was literally a nerve-wracking, nail biting experience that had the players and the spectators on edge. For most of the game Kitchener Waterloo had a 4 run lead on the rattlers with a score of 7 to 3. Even though the rattlers were tired and time was against them they pushed through not allowing KW to get anymore runs. In the end the Georgian Bay Rattlers did lose but by only 1 run. Overall the Rattlers showed great sportsmanship and they showed what they could do down to the last second. They really are one amazing team!

Topham Park- Saturday August 13th, 2011
