Cancelled Game Form (Georgian Bay Minor Softball League)

A game being cancelled must be done 96 hours (4 days) in advance of game time with the exception of the home team cancelling due to weather conditions, which must be done within 1 1/2 hours prior to game time. Only the plate umpire can cancel a game when it is within 1 1/2 hours of game time and then it is generally done at the plate at game time if weather conditions merit a cancellation. A game that is NOT rescheduled within 2 weeks, with no cancellation form being submitted and no correspendence to the league statistician will be treated as a 0-0 score. Games that have had a form submitted due to cancellation stil must have a makeup game date set within two weeks, if that isn't happening either team can request the league statistician to be involved within the 2 week time period. If 2 weeks goes by without any makeup game date and no request for intervention by either team involved, the league will give a 7-0 score and a forfeit will be charged for that game to the team that cancelled. Please take note that this form is time stamped. Failure to submit this form prior to the 96 hours or 1 1/2 hour due to weather could result in a Forfeit in the event of a dispute!
